Since 2021, we have partnered with Danida Fellowship Center as co-facilitators of a 3-4-week learning program in Denmark focused on SDG implementation and action.

The program is targeting “SDG Champions” who are actively working with the 2030 Agenda and want to participate in the development of a national, cross-sector platform in their country, pushing for good public policies and implementation of the SDGs.

The Champions are selected from the private sector, civil society, public institutions and academia who are passionate about sustainable change and want to learn more about how to use the SDG framework to strengthen cross-sector partnerships and drive forward the SDG-agenda.

Since 2023, the program has been targeted youth, particularly members of the Danish Embassies' Youth Sounding Boards, who advise the embassies in youth engagement. Among the participants are also Youth Ambassadors from the East African Community.

As part of the learning program, the participants take actively part in the People’s Meeting at Bornholm, and gain experience and inspiration to host similar events in their home countries. They develop action plans to be implemented upon return to their home countries.
